IronPooch hosts trail races, canicross races, and obstacle course races for dog-owners to run (or walk!) with their best friends. Our events bring together amateurs, experienced athletes, nonprofit animal organizations, local vendors, and their dogs for an inclusive, family-friendly event. Come for the racecourses or for the food, music, and dog events at race & vendor village.

Who is it for?
Our Human Participants
Everyone! From experienced competitive runners and canicross racers, to kids and adults of all ages and abilities, to non-racing participants who are looking for a family-friendly event to hang out with live music, food/beverages, and of course, lots and lots of dogs.
Our Canine Participants
All healthy, vaccinated, non-aggressive dogs of all breeds are welcome at IronPooch events — from world-class canicross competition-winning Belgian Malinois who are looking to take the 10k course record, to the punch-above-my-weightclass Corgi who is up for the challenge on our short obstacle course, to the "I'm too old and tired for this stuff" St Bernard who just wants to hang around furry friends at our race village for some entertainment.
Spectators & Attendees
Great question! We are a for-profit company with a nonprofit mission — we invite and offer space to local 501c organizations such as animal rescues, foster organizations, ASPCAs, etc., to attend our events for free. They promote their available dogs and solicit donations, as well as put on fun fundraising drives. Our race village also features sponsors and vendors, both local and national. Top it all off with live local music, food & beverages, and great family-friendly vibes and you could make a day of it whether you race or not!
